Unclear instructions which made me grumpy but a very sturdy feeder once done. I've put it on a stone slab as the ground needs to be level under it. I've set it at the lightest setting and the bigger hens took to it straight away and the smaller hens learnt from them. I have been placing a brick on the lever during the day to ensure even the meekest of the bantams gets her food. Don't know if it is rat proof yet as I need to set up a night camera.
Chuffing tricky to put together. Instructions written poorly and photos not very clear. Probably easy once you've struggled through it all and needed to do another one. Gate is a bit wobbly in use but much better than hopping over the fencing.
Hi Katie, thanks for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the assembly was challenging and the instructions weren’t clear enough. We will feed this back to Hotline as they have taken the instructions from the german manufacturers. We will probably look at doing our own to make it better too.

I bought the netting and a gate. Good quality products but awful instructions for the gate. Fencing very straight forward so no need for instructions.

As I run a busy boarding cattery I wanted a well made unit to fit in with the rest of my cat runs.

We lost one of our hens to flystrike so following a quick Google we found this site. After a slow couple of cooler days it's now attracting the flies! Great product would definitely recommend.

My hens love this 'Afternoon Delight Fruity Treat Mix' from Feldy. I must admit I mix it with other treats (e.g., super mixed corn), to ensure they get a really varied treat serving each evening. But this product is definitely a keeper for me.
