Dried Calciworms by Love Wildlife - available in 200g or 800g resealable (recyclable) pouches. A super-food for birds, highly nutritious and can be fed all year round.

Calciworms are the dried larvae of the Black Soldier Fly and are therefore different to Mealworms (which are the larvae of beetles). They are high in protein, fat, amino acids, and calcium. This richness makes them an excellent addition to the diets of growing and breeding vertebrates, including birds, fish, hedgehogs, small mammals, and reptiles.

Calciworms contain 34% protein, 37% fat and 7.9% calcium. A great feed for insect-eating creatures - garden birds and hedgehogs LOVE them!

Use as an occasional treat as part of a balanced diet for wild birds. If giving to your chickens, give sparingly, e.g., a teaspoon each every other day. Tip: Do not feed to excess; they are high-protein, high-fat treats only!
