Optional Timber Skirting for our Poultry Protection Pens. Available to fit all six sizes of the large Poultry Protection Pen.
Add this timber windbreak skirt to your Poultry Protection Pen order to provide additional shelter around the base of the run.
The timber skirt offers useful weather protection by acting as a windbreak, which can be particularly helpful for smaller or more delicate birds. It can also help prevent hardwood woodchip or other bedding materials from being scratched or kicked outside the run when enthusiastic birds are busy foraging.
The skirt is made from 3 layers of 125mm x 19mm pressure-treated shiplap timber securely fitted to the outside of the Pen around the base, giving a height of approx. 15 inches (no cladding on the door).
Simply add this option to your order, and your Poultry Protection Pen panels will arrive with the timber skirt already attached.
