50m Poultry Netting Kit with Dual Power Energiser. A bare-basics Electric Fencing Kit to protect your chickens from predators.

This Chicken Electric Fence Kit includes the Gemini HLC40 Energiser from Hotline, a 50m* roll of green poultry netting, 10m roll of HT lead out cable, 2 crocodile clips and a one-metre earth stake.

This Poultry Netting kit contains all you need to set up a mains-powered electric fence system around your chickens, or the energiser can also be powered by a 12v battery.

PLEASE double-check the length of netting you require before purchase, or before unrolling once received. We cannot exchange or refund once the netting is opened out and unrolled (and you find that 50 metres is a lot longer than 50 feet!) i.e. it cannot be refunded or exchanged unless it is returned unopened and in a saleable condition.

* The 50-metre length of netting, is approx. 164 ft long,giving a pen of 41ft x 41ft - 1680 sq ft - or 156 sq metres.

To set up: Unroll the netting and push the posts into the ground preferably to enclose your hens and their house in a square to prevent predator intrusion from all sides (although you could make different shapes or have it in one long line if you wish).

Install the Gemini energiser near a 3-pin socket, if opting for a mains power source, and use the lead-out cable to take the power to the fence and to connect to the earth stake using the crocodile clips.

For Battery operation, hang the energiser on the earth stake near the fence and connect your 12v battery.

Full installation instructions are provided with the kit. You can select extra items to add to your kit by scrolling down this page. For example, if your ground is uneven or sloping it may be an idea to add more Black Flexiposts or some CP112 Corner Posts.
