Hotline Gemini Dual Power Energisers

Hotline Electric Fencing Gemini Dual power energiser range are energisers that can be powered by either mains electricity or a 12v battery. They are made in the UK and carry a 3-year manufacturer's warranty.

The Gemini 40 is 0.8 stored joules energiser; the Gemini 80 has 1.2 stored joules and the Gemini 120 is a 2.4 joule energiser. They come with their own galvanised metal stand and have low battery indicators.

The Gemini will run from either a 12v battery (available from outlets like Halfords) or from a mains power supply, perfect for making the transition from a temporary portable fence to a low maintenance mains system without the expense of purchasing two energisers.

This unit is ideal if you want to 'future-proof' the fence and envisage shifting from a temporary to a more permanent installation. Also for those needing to move small poultry pens around their land where power requirements can change.

The units come with HT leads for earth, fence and battery, a metal ground stand (which can serve as earth stake on short fences) and a 12v mains adapter with leads - these are approx 1m long.

When using for mains power it ought to be housed indoors, or at least under cover, near a mains socket. If your mains socket is a long way from your fence (more than a metre or so), you will need HT Lead Out Cable and Crocodile Clips to take the power from the energiser to the fence and also from the energiser to the earth stake.
