The Arch Chicken Coop

The Arch Chicken Coop is a practical and easy-to-clean house, which is not only a pleasure to use but also to look at. The house itself can house 6 - 8 Chickens (depending on breed). If the birds are to be confined to the run area only and not allowed to free-range, then reduce the number to 4 -5, again, depending on breed.

The Arched Coop has many great features including:
* Slide Out Floor for easy cleaning and bedding removal

* Two x 3ft long removable perches, suitable for 6 - 8 chickens

* Portcullis-style Pop Hole Door on a drawstring for external operation

* Large access door to the rear of the henhouse 
* The Run is integral, extending 6ft from the front of the house, giving footprint dimensions of approx. 9ft 4in x 4ft 5in
* Under-house space gives plenty of headroom for larger hens and provides shelter, shade, and space for feeders.

Designed and made here in Dorset (England), in our own workshop, using only top-quality, FSC certified, pressure-treated timber with an exterior-grade plywood floor. Click the Specifications tab for full info.

Extra Cladding can be added to better protect the under-house space. The Arch Chicken Coop is modular, so the run is easily extendable. We offer options for 3ft and 6ft Run Extensions, which can easily be added to your existing run.

If you plan to keep your coop in a permanent position, we can provide a Sleeper & Woodchip Pack to create a good, solid base on which to place the whole unit. You can then fill the ground inside with Hardwood Woodchip so that your birds never get bored and are never left walking on bare earth or mud.

If you wish to make your Coop more fox-proof we offer a No-Dig Mesh Skirt, and for rat-proofing we suggest our Anti-Rodent Scratch Mats.

Current delivery approx. 4 - 5 weeks from ordering.

The house is delivered in panels, on a pallet for easy self assembly. The run is fixed together with bolts and the hen house panels are screwed together making the whole assembly very easy with a cordless screwdriver and an 11mm spanner/socket.
