Hobby Duck House - at just 3 ft square this is a super little starter house for up to 6 small-to-average size ducks.

The Hobby Duck House, with its leaning toward traditional Ark-style design, is a popular small duck house particularly if you are starting out with poultry keeping.

Large Duck-size door, shallow ramp, and large back door means easy to clean, and its handles make it easy to move.

The Hobby Duck House has a large entrance door with a shallow duck-friendly ramp which can be securely closed to keep predators out.

The shallow ramp for access is particularly important for ducks and other web-footed poultry as they don't 'do' jumping, steep ramps or ladders. Its heart shaped perspex window is not compulsory, just cute (select above if you prefer not to have the heart window).

The Hobby Duck House has plenty of (meshed) ventilation along the apex and it is raised off the ground on 10cm legs. There is good access for cleaning from the back with a completely removable door.

The internal floor is approx 3ft square so as a guide it could suit up to 4 to 6 Indian Runner-sized Ducks or Aylesburys. If you want to add a Wired Run to help contain your Ducks at times then just select above with Hobby 9ft Run.

Converted Hobby Duck House

This is the third time I have purchased this house from FlyteSoFancy. It is not only beautifully made but a delightful looking feature in our garden.
More importantly though, each time I have purchased it was as a home for my rabbits. FlyteSoFancy accommodated this without question, making the legs longer so that my rabbits could easily access their home either along the raised ramp or even by jumping in through the back exit. This additional height makes it much easier for me for cleaning purposes too.
My bunnies live both inside and outdoors so this is their outdoor home.
I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Sturdy, well built and traditional

I purchased the hobby duck house for my two ducks. The communication with FSF was fantastic! It arrived well packaged but unfortunately just a small hair line crack in a panel. I was kindly sent a product in the post which arrived the next day to fix the small crack, which I was very pleased with. My ducks love their new home. It’s warm and breathable. My chickens find a way to sleep with the ducks which is lovely but I decided they need more space so I have now ordered the chicken hobby house. :) these houses will last for years, so I feel it’s money well spent. I was given some advice with red mite so I’m determined to keep the coop well cleaned to prevent. Many thanks Flyte So Fancy! I’m extremely pleased ♥️ and so are my ducks and chickens (the hobby fits two ducks and 4 chickens very well!)

What an amazingly well put together and beautiful duck house. We can't wait for the ducks to finally move in once they're out of their brooder.

Hobby duck hut

We had a similar duck hut from Flyte so fancy about 10 years ago and it lasted really well but I think our three ducks managed to peck through the floor in one place and as we are having our aviary renovated it seemed like a good time to replace the hut as well It arrived as planned and if anything looks better than the previous one Really happy with the quality and when the work is done on the aviary I’m sure our ducks will be very happy as will we Great solid long lasting product
