9ft long Run for Hobby Duck House

Wired Runs for Hobby Duck Houses - a 9ft long run to fit the Flyte so Fancy Hobby Duck House.

To keep your raft of ducks safe from predators in the garden, or confined (don't forget that most domesticated ducks cannot fly out of danger), why not add this run to the Hobby Duck House and use it when needed. The more space you can give ducks the happier and healthier they will be.

Remember, they do need a water bath so they can submerge themselves daily, particularly their heads, as they need to clean their eyes regularly. Ducks need water!

The Hobby Duck House Run has an access door nearest the house, so you can access the pop-hole, and a door at the furthest end if you wish to let the ducks out.

This gives them a secure exit into the Run and will keep them safe but also allow you to let them out to roam if you wished to.

If you wish to move the house and run to new ground then it is easy to pull the run away (no screws to undo) so you can move the two parts separately. 

The run is apex-shaped to suit the shape of the Hobby Houses and the open end fits snugly up against the front of the house. It has a timber brace at the base to fit up against the house legs so that nothing can gain access (or escape) under the house.

As with all Flyte so Fancy Chicken Runs, it is made of pressure-treated 38 x 38mm timber frame covered in strong one inch by half inch 18g galvanised weldmesh. Plywood roof braces are included for rigidity. We use galvanised weldmesh with a green plastic coating on all runs to further enhance longevity.

The 9ft Run is 3ft wide x 9ft long x 3ft high (94cm x 284cm x 104cm H).

If ordered with the Duck House the Run panels will all arrive together with the house on the pallet. When purchased separately this run will be delivered by courier, in panels for simple self-assembly.

The run will arrive flat-packed in panels with instructions for screwing together, very easy to do, screws included.
