Protect your broody coop from rats and mice with this heavy-duty wire mesh scratch mat, designed to sit securely beneath your chicken run.
The small mesh size prevents rodents from digging up into the run area, giving you peace of mind that your birds are safe, and it prevents rodents from stealing their food.
The mat covers the entire base of the run (not the house section) and includes a 10cm skirt around the perimeter for added protection.
Installation is simple: Unroll the mesh, lay it flat on the ground and position your coop on top. For a more comfortable walking surface for the birds, you can add a layer of hardwood woodchip over the mesh.

- 18-gauge wire
- Galvanised steel with a durable green PVC coating for long-lasting protection
- Mesh for Long Coop: approx. 200cm (L) x 77cm (W)
- Mesh for Short Coop: approx. 110cm (L) x 77cm (W)
- Includes a 10cm protective skirt around the run (not covering under the house section)
