Made by Flyte so Fancy, this chicken shelter is approx 3ft x 3ft and suitable for flocks of up to 6 birds (shown here with our large Brahma chickens).
We have often been asked for a simple weather shelter to give the hens a place to go when it is pouring down with rain - so here is our Small Chicken Shelter - your chickens will love it!
A sturdy unit made to the same high-quality standard that Flyte so Fancy are known for. For the Chicken Shelters, we use 16mm T&G pressure-treated timber for the sides and 21mm T&G Shiplap for the roof.
The roof overhangs the open front to provide maximum protection. It comes with one internal perch plus stainless steel hooks to hang feeders or the FSF Boredom Buster Pecking Blocks.
Delivered in panels for self-assembly with all fixings and instructions supplied.
Dimensions: approx 100cm (3ft 3in) wide x 87cm (2ft 10in) deep inc roof x 89cm (3ft) high max. Excl. roof 82cm wide x 64cm deep.
Delivery: Please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery.
It will arrive in panels for simple self-assembly, with full instructions, delivered by courier in two packages. Delivery is £19.80 for most of mainland UK.
Very sturdy, good quality timber shelter. Easy to assemble with good instructors. May seem a bit on the expensive side for chickens but it will last for years. Very happy with this product

We are delighted with our small chicken shelter from Flyte so Fancy, and so are our 5 young chickens, particularly with rain being a daily occurrence in Perthshire for the last few weeks. It is small (but perfect for the area it was intended), watertight and cosy with all 5 managing to squeeze onto the perch. As referrals had said, it's excellently well made so coming flatpacked isn't an issue as so easy to put together. Highly recommend.
Really good quality, easy to build - fits together perfectly.Our rescue hens already using the shelter for feed time and sheltering from the wind and rain this week. Good size for 3 "plump" girls. Very pleased.
