VSD Door Kit for Dorset Ranger Coops

We have put together a complete VSD Door Opener Kit to suit a Dorset Ranger Chicken Coop, so you can buy in one click and be sure that you have received all you need.
The Door Opener Unit is mounted on the front panel of the coop, to the side of the pop-hole, and travels round 4 pulleys to reach the top of the pop hole door.
If ordering at the same time as the Dorset Ranger Coop we will fit it for you and test it so it will be ready to use upon delivery. If retrofitting, we include the extra timber mount for the bottom pulleys (as photograph) and the extra cord to allow you to attach to the existing door.

If you want to give yourself more control over the opening or closing of the door, the VSD comes with a manual override system, which can be incorporated with an External Manual Control Cable. Or if you find yourself dealing with a particularly rebellious hen who refuses to go in before dark, the Digital Battery Timer is the perfect way to fine-tune your opening and closing times.
