The Protein-Packed, Poultry Power Pouch from The Little Feed Company.
We've all been told for years that Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and there's no better winter breakfast treat than a bowl of warm porridge. And now your hens can enjoy it too!
Made with a blend of Oats, Wheat, Barley, and a whole range of Seeds and Grains, the Poultry Porridge is no gimmick. With over 13% protein, this warming treat can help everything from skinny ex-bat hens needing a good rich meal, or to help restore feather loss due to pecking.
Mix with hot water to create a porridge-like consistency, and allow up to 1 tablespoon per bird, per day. Always check the temperature before serving and ensure fresh water is available at all times, for drinking and beak washing.
Composition: Oats, Wheat, Barley, Sunflower seeds, Sunflower seed meal, Wheat feed, Maize gluten meal, Soya bean meal (non-GM), Maple Peas, Round Berry Maize, Red Dari, Blue Peas, Safflower Seed, White Peas, White Dari, Tares, Aniseed Oil.

I prepared some for the first time this morning, my chickens loved it! I can’t believe how quickly they started eating it normally they are a little hesitant when it comes to new food.
My little hen loves her porridge, sadly her sister passed away the other day. Waiting for some new sisters for her soon I'm sure they will enjoy it too!
Our girls push me out of the way and fight over the bowl of this porridge! I think it’s fair to say they love it.
I think it provides a lovely warming start to their day!
Since they more often than not provide us with a fabulous breakfast, it’s only fair that we should try to do the same thing for them. I also add 1/2 a chopped banana sometimes and/or a few pre soaked chopped raisins.
It really is lovely stuff and so easy to prepare.
Gave this to our four girls this morning. It was a much needed treat in this bitterly cold weather and they loved it and ate every morsel down to the last little bit of seed!
I soak d it in hot water for about three m minutes and it bulked up really quickly. A quick thorough stir and it was done, and still warm when I got to their coop.
Lovely stuff full of seeds and xtra goodies.
Very clucky chooks, and all laid today!!
