Hotline Super Hobby 12v Electric Fence Energiser
Hotline HLB50 Super Hobby 12v Energiser. A 12v Battery Powered 0.6 joule, mid-range, Electric Fence Energiser. Good battery life-power balance.
Very popular fencer for general farm use, horse fencing and protecting pheasant and poultry pens. This energiser will power up to 5 sheep nets, one 50m poultry net, or up to 6 km of wire or tape.
The Hotline Super Hobby Electric Fence Energiser is a very flexible, single 12v input, all-round unit with it's own metal stand which can double up as an earth stake on shorter (<200m) fences. A 1m Earth Stake is recommended for fences over 200m in total length.
The Hobby needs to be powered by a 12v rechargeable leisure battery (available from outlets like Halfords) which we would always advise you to use in preference to a car battery. An 85Amp/hr battery is recommended. All connecting cables are included.
This fencer has an on/off switch and a low battery indicator. The LED will flash green when the unit is working correctly but will change to red when the battery requires re-charging. A buzzer will sound if the battery terminals are connected incorrectly.
There is a 3 year warranty on all Hotline energisers, with online registration, and they are made in the UK by Hotline Electric Fencing Ltd.
