These Green Metal seed feeders are tough, long-lasting and offer excellent protection from squirrel damage.

Using the simple but highly effective perching rings, birds can feed in their natural feeding position - facing forward.

This Seed Feeder has an easy flow base, tough hanger and cap, all constructed from corrosion resistant solid metal alloy.

The Seed feeder tubes are made from UV-stabilised polycarbonate, which will not deteriorate when exposed to sunlight. The feeders also completely dismantle for cleaning.

Birds ignore it

The feeder was dispatched and arrived within the stated timescales. It was in a large box with lots of brown paper packing. So much so that it seemed extravagant and uneccessary if a smaller appropriately sized box had been used.

One of the reasons for purchasing this feeder was that you can fit a tray to the bottom of it. The tray is easy to attach and saves seed spilling onto the ground below.

This feeder was filled with good quality bird seed. For over a week no birds whatsoever were feeding on it. It was moved to where we have other seed feeders hanging from the same tree, with the same seed as they are being used as normal. But a week has gone by and still it is full of seed and not being used. Hence, so far, this feeder has been a complete waste of money.

It was disapointing to find all the perches are hinged, which means they flop about and clank when filling or cleaning the feeder. The hinge/pin is of concern as it will probably corrode and wear out in time which will reflect a weakness in its design IMO. Overall, it has been disapointing both in design and that it is not being used.
