Alfagrow Pride is suitable as a baby and growing feed for all kinds of chicks, especially ornamentals, whether in natural breeding systems, where the mother eats alongside her chicks, or if bred in a controlled environment, like an incubator, with a measured feeding system.

Garvo Alfagrow contains protein-rich pellets and fine seeds as well as all the required vitamins, minerals and trace elements to meet a chick's needs in its early days (see Composition tab).

Alfagrow is the optimum rearing food for young, growing birds. You can feed Alfagrow from the second day of life. Ensure a long feeding dish so the chicks can consume Alfagrow Pride as needed.

Use the feed for the chicks of hobby birds, the pheasant family, quails, partridges, peacocks and other ornamental birds. Young chicks like to eat Alfagrow and should be allowed to consume the feed ad-lib.

Composition: Toasted de-hulled extracted soya, wheat, maize, maize gluten feed, barley, peeled oats, dehydrated alfalfa meal, broken peas, yellow millet, red millet, dried amphipods, brewers yeast, soya oil, spinach seed, rapeseed, blue peas, linseeds, shell grit, rice, lecithin, soft acid.

Analytical/kg: Crude Protein 19.2%; Crude Fat 3.5%; Crude Fibre 6.0%; Crude Ash 6.8%; plus Calcium, Phosphorus, Sodium, Magnesium, Lysin, Methionin.

Feeding Advice from Garvo: Alfagrow Pride is a complete feed for ornamental chicks and chicks of other galliform birds. No additional feed is required. Do not supply food in the first 24 hours after hatching. The chicks should live off the food supply received in the egg first. Provide fresh, lukewarm drinking water (in a very shallow drinker to avoid drowning) immediately.

Tip: Allow food to be consumed each day entirely, and mix any remains loosely with water.
