Arrived quickly and easily replaced the faulty original.

Needed a new sensor, came quickly was easy to fit and works.

Old Vsb unit had stopped working. Looking online it looked to be a faulty light sensor.
Ordered a new External light sensor cable which arrived the following day.
Unit now working again without spending a fortune

Really helpful advice from Flyte So Fancy when my 10 year old door opener suddenly stopped working. Turns out the light sensor had failed and it thought it was constant daylight. Cutting off the old sensor and plugging in an 'external' sensor (which remains in the box) was the work of seconds and now I have a fully functioning door opener again at a fraction of the cost of a replacement. Very quick, very helpful... couldn't ask for more.

The new sensor works great but the cable is a bit shorter than my old so has been more difficult to position in the light.

Item arrived promptly thanks , unfortunately door opener still not working so must be something else, do you have any other parts I can try to?

I have the reassurance that if delayed for any reason getting back before dusk, providing the chickens are content to roost, no harm can befall them. The light sensor works reliably with the VSD unit

AS ADVERTISED AND SUPPLIED WITH A COMPLETE FIXING INSTRUCTION BOOKLET WITH PHOTOGRAPHS - EXCELLENT. I HAVE FOUND THAT THESE HAVE A LIMITED LIFE SPAN WHICH IS A PITY - BUT THEY DO WORK WELL DURING THEIR LIFETIME.
PERHAPS MY PREVIOUS FAILURE WAS A ONE OFF - TIME WILL TELL.

Great items. All working well. Very quickly dispatched and received. Works well to allow the timer to control the door opener according to the time we want the chickens out in the morning.

Never have any problems, always provide fast service. They may not be the cheapest, I don't know either way, but I prefer to stick with who I know for the service. If anywhere near them down in Dorset it's worth dropping in to have a look round. The first one I bought a few years ago with the door opener was fine & lasted a while but they are now failing too regularly for my liking (maybe there's a build quality issue that needs addressing) I gave a "good" rating for AXT products as a whole as they are good but I'm concerned about individual parts quality. Also, if you go to the AXT European site they list the sensor at 8 Euros with delivery at 2 Euros bring the total to £7.60 inc tax but when you select the British part of the site the price jumps to nearly £12.............curious !!
