Pack Size
Packs of basic (economy) fibre egg boxes, suitable for normal hens’ eggs.
Various pack sizes are available from 60 x half dozen boxes (10 layers) up to bulk pallet quantities of 13,860.
Hinged along the short side, single tab closure, one dimple in the lid but still ok to take labels, three boxes per layer e.g. a pack of 462 boxes is stacked and wrapped as 154 layers.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to changes in the source of the recycled unbleached pulp used by the manufacturers for these egg boxes, they sometimes look more pale brown than grey. Equally, as a budget-level box, there may be marks along the top from the drying racks during the manufacturing process.
Guide: a pack of 462 weighs 12kg.
Size approx. per box: 155mm long; 100mm wide; 70mm deep. Max label area on top: 120mm x 70mm.
Pack sizes: 60, 231, 462 (full bundle), 1,386 (3 bundles), 4,620 (10 bundles) and pallet quantity of 30 bundles (13,860 boxes).
Note: due to the 'Economy' nature of these egg boxes, and the mass production methods that ensure low prices, you may see some tiny brown markings around the edges and top of the lid occasionally. This is only due to the hot racks that they are dried on and is, unfortunately, completely out of our control.
Standard delivery via courier is next working day to most mainland UK destinations for orders placed before 2pm (excl. weekends and bank holidays).

Excellent and very speedy service. My only criticism of these boxes is that they do not stay closed because the locking tab is poor quality and does not hold the box shut. But they are very cheap per box if you buy in bulk. I think you get what you pay for.

We have been buying from you for quite a time - not enormous I know, but since we only buy two products - would it be possible for them to be flagged up when I log in - or even better options - we only have 60 hens - all eggs going going for neighbours
Only other thing is that we suspect because of our post code we are being charged for going to our neighbouring island of Orkney which has the same code

The ability for customers to see past orders, and do simple repeat orders, is something we have long been working on and i am happy to report that our website redevelopment is going well. I was impressed with the wide range of products available. I was able to buy complete layers pellets with Verm -X, which I had not found in local shops. The online site and cataloge are an enjoyable shopping experience. Delivery was next day and products arrived swiftly. Communication with the sales team was quick and effective. Initially I put an order through online, but then wondered if I had selected the best delivery option to the Scottish Islands so then phoned through to the customer services.
A very helpful person was able to reassure me that the items ordered should be dispatched within a couple of days and delivered within approximately four days. She also advised that if they hadn't arrived within four days, to contact them.
This was unnecessary as they did arrive within the expected delivery window. Just what we needed and expected from this supplier. Plain and simple, classic egg boxes with just the right designed lid to accomodate our own labels for chicken and duck eggs.
The end plug secures the lid and stays shut during transit providing good protection for the contents.
