Keep your chickens safe and your life hassle-free with the ChickenGuard Pro Solar — a smart, solar-powered automatic door opener designed for peace of mind and convenience. Whether you're off on holiday or just want a lie-in, this clever device takes care of opening and closing the coop for you. With a powerful motor capable of lifting doors up to 2kg, it’s a very reliable unit for any setup.
The Solar Pro unit offers three different power options, battery, solar and mains, and it can keep working even if the power is off. Latest solar technology means the small solar panel will keep charging the batteries even on a dull day. Included are 4 NiMH rechargeable batteries (normal AA batteries are also an option, but not included). It measures 170mm x 115mm. It can be powered from your mains supply, and a DC cable for this option is available separately.
You also get four ways to control the door — let the light sensor do the thinking for you, set a timer, go manual when you need to, or use the DualSafe mode for extra security. Easy plug-and-play set-up with full instructions.

Standard delivery via courier is next working day to most mainland UK destinations for orders placed before 2pm (excl. weekends and bank holidays).

This chicken coup is exceptional quality. I am no spring chicken 😂and managed to build it easily as it comes already just for a few screws to put it together. Easy to install and set up. Being able to set opening and closing times for the coop makes like a lot easier, especially if it’s pouring with rain!!
It was easy to set up and appears to work well at the moment. It has only been set up for a week and once the weather changes it may not be as good, only time will tell.
