Brown Poultry Saddles
Size
Canvas Poultry Saddles, in a tough brown canvas with cream trim. Available in small, medium and large. Handmade in England.
Protect your hens from an over-amourous cockerel during mating as they can easily wound the hen and draw blood during the mating season.
Also useful to protect the back of hens that are being pecked by other hens as the saddle will prevent wounds and allow new feather growth underneath.
Note: The Saddles are handmade so colours and design may vary occasionally. The current design varies from that in the images as the tape has a popper closure to make it a little easier to put onto the hen.
Handwash with care or scrub with a dry stiff brush. Made from rot-proof, water-proof, durable canvas, strong cotton and quality bias binding.
3 sizes available: (width is from under wing to under wing):
Small - 18cm wide x 14cm long, suitable for Bantams.
Medium - 20cm wide x 15.5cm long, suitable for larger Bantams and hybrids
Large - 22cm wide x 16.5cm long, suitable for larger hens including Brahmas
