Battles Gentian Violet Spray, 240ml

Effective product at a decent price.

The spray worked in preventing pecking. We were worried it wouldn't stay on the chicken long enough, but it did.
Also it was delivered very quickly, with hood communication from Flyte So Fancy.

I purchased this product to try to see if it would stop my one chicken from plucking the rear feathers from some of my other birds making them very red and soar.. I sprayed the birds with it , and it seems to have sorted out my problem as their feathers have started to grow back

Product was received after a courier delay- nothing FsF could do, apart from use a more reliable courier, however, on receipt, the actual pump mechanism was broken, so didn’t actually spray anything, more just leaked the purple liquid over my hands and the bottle. So in that aspect, the product was rather rubbish, but FsF’s customer service must be applauded for the speed and efficiency of their response. Thank you,

Extremely prompt despatch which was very helpful. Excellent items too, particularly the portable next box I haven't had to use this yet, but previous experience suggests that this compound has great sticking power and is really difficult to get off skin and will never come off clothes!

Certainly buy again prompt delivery service was not expecting it that soon sprayed birds at once see improvement but its early days as yet will continue treatment birds responding to treatments not so sore small feathers starting to grow back pleased wih results

I am new to chicken keeping and wanted everything to be in place ready for my new arrivals. Flyte So Fancy had so much that I needed. it was great being able to order most of my supplies from one place. The items arrived really quickly and were extremely well packaged. I will be continuing to order from FSF. I love the layout of their catalogue and they have a really good range of goods, equipment and supplies. their information articles are also helpful! Recommended - good sized sturdy bottle. I luckily have not needed to use it on my birds but the bottle withstands being bumped and knocked over without spillage.

Always good communications, quick despatch and delivery. Really easy to apply, turning a rather bright pink chicken rump a nice violet colour which although faded after a week is still quite noticeable.
Do make sure you wear old clothes and gloves when applying, as it stains really well!

I have used FSF since I got my hens and they have been consistently useful, with mundane stuff such as Stalosan F or more info on my electric fencing. A great site with helpful and knowledgeable staff. Very good for disguising plucked out feathers and any blood drawn, use gloves cos it will stain your skin!

Absolutely superb Have only used it once, but noticed that a couple of my birdies already had purple on their beaks!! Will be reusing again this weekend
