Frosty and very cold weather can be particularly difficult for breeds of poultry with large combs and wattles, particularly Cockerels, so by rubbing this cream into these vulnerable areas it can protect them from blackening.

Frostbite is damaging and painful to anyone of course, and if it occurs in poultry the comb and wattle will become blackened and may eventually detach. This cream will give protection from frostbite to these very vulnerable areas.

Apply directly to the bird's comb and wattles with a massaging action.
