Ascot 2.5kg Chicken Feeder - Outdoor with Rainhat
Ascot Outdoor Plastic Chicken Feeder with green rain hat. This feeder has a 2.5kg capacity for layers pellets. Brilliant quality, British Made, robust feeder from BEC.
The Rain Hat will keep the feed dry and protected from contamination although we would suggest it be placed in an area protected from high winds, the rain hat does fit snugly on the tube. Note: the inner cap is not included, and not needed, if using the Rain Hat.
It stands on four green conical legs (included) to raise the feeder off the ground and keep the feed saucer clear of scattered debris.
The white tube has integral anti-flick fins to prevent the hens flicking the feed out of the saucer when they are looking for tasty morsels, therefore stopping a lot of feed wastage.
This tube simply twist-locks into the lugs in the green saucer, a simple twist-to-lock action. Easy to unlock to clean and easy to fill into the top of the tube. Not suitable for mash.
