Silvermoor Alfa-Grit Block Chicken Treat

Hung the block up in the hay net. To start it was eyed up with suspicion. Spotted a previous review in which treats were pushed down inside the net with the block. This did the trick. 🤣 . Treats are stripped out and peck holes are appearing in the block. My girls free range when I’m about but do spend some time in their safe run and this is when it is pecked at most. So may be more suitable for girls who don’t free range as much

Not the fault of the product, it's a nice size and doesn't fall apart but the girls weren't interested

My Hens love the Alfa Grit block. Ive put it in a little wall rack in their coop and they are really enjoying pecking at it.
Delivery was incredibly quick too which was perfect!

This Alfa-Grit Block smells fresh, looks super healthy, and should've been a hit with my flock, especially now during winter, when they have virtually nothing to graze on (they're free-ranging, but ate the whole lawn!). This product is definitely great quality; regrettably, not a single one of my 6 hens would touch it. I popped it in the net, left it out for days, had it at accessible height, even tried placing it on the ground - to no avail. I can only blame my fussy flock, hence the 4 stars out of 5.
