The Durdle Door Garden Bird House. Suitable as a home for most kinds of nesting garden birds like the Tit family, Sparrows, Finches, Flycatchers and Nuthatches.

Nestled here among the Jubilee Roses it looks an absolute treat to the eye. Imagine it filled with a bustling hive of chirping garden birds enjoying their luxury home.

An elegantly curved arch birdhouse that will make a truly gorgeous feature for your garden. The nesting holes are 60mm in diameter so will encourage a wide range of garden birds from Blue Tits to Starlings.

The front panel is removable for easy cleaning. With this simple maintenance your Bird House will be protected against all weathers, and the pressure treated timber keeps out rot and fungal attack for 15 years.

Before it leaves us we apply a clear waterproofing to the roof but, if you wish to paint the Bird House when it arrives, we advise a light sanding to remove this coating before paint application. A good quality outdoor microporous paint is recommended if painting.

We advise an annual maintenance regime to clean thoroughly internally, and apply a timber protector like Protek Eco-Shield externally.

It ain’t (is) heavy - it’s my birdhouse

This is just a great birdhouse:
the design and build are excellent. But this comes at a cost: weight. There are three locating holes in the back which give a hint this needs fixing securely to a wall. And it does! It’s much heavier than you might think requiring two people to install it. In the end we opted for a heavy duty bolt and supporting brackets as a belt and braces approach. The brackets will disappear over time as the roses grow around the structure.

Hellow Stewart,

Thank you for taking your time to leave a review and for uploading such a lovely picture! I am pleased to hear you have managed to securely attach it to your wall, and i hope you have some new home owners soon! :)
