Delivery is available throughout the UK and Channel Islands. Recent notifications from couriers have also meant we are unable to send some items to N Ireland and the Channel Islands due to size.
You may have read or heard in the news recently of the huge shortage of haulage drivers and its impact on goods and delivery services. This has affected Flyte so Fancy as it has all businesses so we ask that you bear with us if your order does not arrive the next day or on the stated day. Please check the courier tracking before calling us in case of these transport delays.
Our standard courier (DPD or APC) delivery service is the next working day for orders placed before 2pm, Royal Mail items are 48 hour tracked. (for pallet deliveries see below). Carriage is calculated automatically through the checkout. The delivery charge starts at £3.95 for small items below 1kg. Thereafter we use a next day courier delivery e.g. 2kg to 5kg is £5.99, 5kg - 10kg is £6.99, to postcodes in mainland England, Wales & Lowland Scotland. Other remote areas and islands will be more. We do not deliver to any hotel/guest house addresses.
If you require a Saturday delivery there is a surcharge starting at £15.50 (sorry) to add to a standard courier delivery charge (for this option please call us 01300 345229). This surcharge varies according to the weight and destination of goods. For Saturday deliveries of heavy palletised orders, the Saturday surcharge is £44.00 (sorry again). Saturday surcharge is not applicable to Royal Mail items.
All non-housing items and non-palletised orders are usually despatched for next working day delivery within mainland UK unless we are, unusually, out of stock. If there is more than a 3 - 4 day delay due to lack of stock at the time of your order we will contact you.
Bulk orders of heavy items e.g. woodchip or feed (over 90kg), are normally sent by palletised delivery with Palletline which can take several days to schedule for despatch. Please let us know if your order is urgent.
Housing deliveries and heavy items (total weight over 90kg) are delivered on a pallet via Palletline and details of whether housing items are currently in stock are given on the relevant product page. For the most up to date delivery timescale though please call us on 01300 345229.
All deliveries will normally require a signature but, if you are not going to be available to receive the delivery, please could you state during the checkout process where the driver can leave the parcel/pallet safely. Alternatively, just email email@example.com with any necessary details.
Estimated delivery times are given on the information page of each house or unit. To find the delivery charges, add goods required to the shopping basket, click Checkout, select destination and it will calculate the delivery charge e.g. delivery of henhouses via Palletline company start at £39.95 for mainland England and can be £200+ for remote areas (some islands would require individual quotes for pallet deliveries e.g. Orkneys/Shetlands, as these are excluded from normal Scottish Island pallet delivery charges). If in doubt please call 01300 345229.
Please call us if your order does not arrive within 3 days, or, for pallet deliveries, if it does not arrive on the day we have given you in your delivery email.
September 2021 - Please note the delivery timescales listed in the description of each henhouse/duck house in the Delivery Info tab.
Equally, for information, pallet transportation is under huge pressure currently due to nationwide lack of drivers, lack of small vehicles, and higher than normal volumes in the network. This may mean on some occasions, we are unable to deliver when access requires small lorries, and there may be occasions when the given delivery date is unable to be met by the pallet company.
The delivery pallet size for most housing is 1.2m x 1.5m (4ft x 5ft) x up to 2.2m high (depending on which house) and the goods are wrapped and strapped on the pallet for you to unpack at your leisure.
The Palletline lorry driver will not unpack the pallet for you but will put it, using his pallet handler, in as convenient a place as possible for you to unpack at your leisure (steps, grass or gravel are not possible for this machine). The lorry is usually a 7.5tonne curtain-sided lorry with a rear tail-lift. If you think delivery this way may be a problem, please contact us and we will consider other options.
