Bird Flu Housing Order Announcement - Nov 2022

The Chief Veterinary Officer for England has announced a Housing Order will come into force across the UK from 00:01 on Monday 7th November 2022, until further notice, to protect poultry and captive birds from avian influenza.

The Chief Veterinary Officer for England has announced a Housing Order bringing in new measures to help protect poultry and captive birds.

The new housing measures will come into force across the UK from 00:01 on Monday 7th November 2022 to protect poultry and captive birds from avian influenza following a number of confirmed cases across Great Britain in recent weeks.
