FSF 25m Poultry Netting Kit - Dual Power
This Flyte so Fancy Poultry Netting Kit contains all you need to set up a fence system around your chickens, powered either by mains power or a 12v battery.
The kit comes with full instructions for setting it up, and telephone support is always available if you need it.
The 25m kit includes the HLC40 Gemini Energiser from Hotline, a 25m* roll Green Poultry Netting (1.1m high), 10m roll of HT lead out cable, 4 crocodile clips and a one-metre earth stake.
Dual Power Poultry Netting Kit that can be powered by either a 12v External (Leisure-type) Battery, or, with Mains Power from a normal 3-pin socket.
Please double-check the length of netting you require before purchase, or before unrolling, as once the roll of netting is opened and unrolled we cannot accept it back for exchange i.e. it cannot be refunded unless it is returned unopened and in a saleable condition.
* The 25-metre length of netting is approx. 82 ft, it creates a Pen of approx 21ft x 21ft - 440 sq ft - or 39 sq metres.
To set up: Unroll the netting and push the posts into the ground preferably to enclose your hens and their house in a square to prevent predator intrusion from all sides (although you could make different shapes or have it in one long line if you wish).
Install the Gemini Energiser near a 3-pin socket if using mains power and use the HT lead-out cable to take the power to the fence and to connect to the earth stake using the crocodile clips. For battery operation, hang the energiser on the earth stake and connect to the 12v battery.
Turn on the power and that's it - basically. Full installation instructions are provided with the kit.
If your ground is uneven or sloping it may be an idea to add more black flexible posts or rigid corner posts.
You could also add a self-earthing fence tester or indicator light tube to tell whether the fence is working correctly.
