MODERN SLAVERY STATEMENT
Flyte so Fancy Ltd are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of the business and, in so far as it is possible, to requiring our suppliers to hold a similar ethos.
As a family-owned and run, small rural business, we handcraft pet and poultry housing for the domestic customer market. We only sell under our own Flyte so Fancy name for our timber products and this incorporates our brands of Dorset Log Stores (Log Stores and Garden Stores) and Framebow (Animal Housing). We have one manufacturing site in Dorset.
Responsibility for the policy
The Company Directors have overall responsibility for ensuring we comply with any legal and ethical obligations.
Supply chain due diligence
Our procurement takes place in England and our supplies are wholly UK or EU based. All our timber is sourced and supplied in accordance with EU Timber Regulations and our suppliers have a documented Due Diligence System for timber procurement that is FSC and PEFC certified.
This statement is made in pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes the Flyte so Fancy Ltd modern slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending June 2019.
