Coronavirus Message from Flyte so Fancy
UPDATE 8th APRIL 2020: AS AN ONLINE STORE FOR POULTRY SUPPLIES, EGG PACKAGING & FEEDS WE ARE OPERATING AS NORMAL FOR HOME/BUSINESS PREMISES DELIVERIES
We would like to reassure Flyte so Fancy customers that, we are, thankfully, still able to send essential poultry supplies, including feed and medications, for your birds and pets through the courier home delivery system. We can also continue supplying farm shops, farms, food shops, egg producers and other businesses with egg packaging and poultry feeds.
However, we continue to see an extraordinary volume of orders so, please understand that we may not be able to get your order out immediately but will despatch as soon as possible. We are currently running two to three days behind. Equally the couriers are seeing the same increased volume so may take up to 2 days to deliver, but we are all working hard to get your order to you. Please bear with us in this unpredictable environment.
Due to the coming weekend bank holidays we are sorry to say that any orders placed today (8th) will not be despatched until 14th April.
We also now have two bank holidays creeping upon us where coureirs do not collect or deliver, and our staff will not be working on Good Friday or Easter Monday (emails will still be answered though), so if we despatch an order on the 9th April for example the delivery will not be until 14th/15th April. Our phone lines are particularly busy so if we can't get to you straight away, please try later, leave a message or email us.
We adhere strictly to government guidelines in all aspects of cleaning the premises and social distancing between staff. If you wish to collect supplies from our shop then please call first to place you order over the phone, 01300 345229, we can then load goods into your vehicle when you arrive to maintain the minimum 2 metres distance and no payment card contact will be needed.
Our couriers and suppliers have assured us of equal good practices and both DPD and APC have instigated a solution where you no longer have to sign the driver's handheld device on receipt of goods or meet the driver. However, we ask that you give us specific 'leave safe' instructions for us to pass to the driver. All our couriers/pallet companies have advised that if a leave safe instruction is not given then they will not leave the goods, but they will be returned to depot to await further instructions.
If we do find we ultimately have to close the Flyte so Fancy site/shop we will inform customers both here on this page and through our facebook pages.
Stay safe and well
Anne & Phillip and the Flyte so Fancy Team
