Woodchip for Poultry Runs

A large bag of hardwood Woodchips (made for playgrounds) for use as a surface in poultry runs (or on the flowerbeds too!).

The chickens love it; it keeps them clean, gives them something to scratch in all day long, washes through with the rain and only needs changing perhaps once or twice a year.

So if you have a fixed run and they are down to bare earth, sprinkle a good layer of this in the run and you will have happy hens!

Plastic sack holding 70 litres or weighing approx 18kg. Estimate one sack will cover approx 10 sq ft with a 3" depth.

Delivery by pallet (to address in mainland England) is £39 - even if you add more items for delivery at the same time e.g feeds, we would refund the delivery back to just £39 - for mainland Scotland delivery would be £65 - for other areas just add to basket, select destination and delivery will be shown in your basket ex vat.

Delivery is 2-3 days after despatch and does require access for a small lorry. The driver will place the pallet in a convenient place on your property for you to unpack as you wish. A signature on delivery is preferable but if you are happy for the pallet to be left safely please mention this when ordering.
