Our Maggie's Six Hen House with longer legs has become so popular we thought we should offer this with the Maggie's Dozen Henhouse too. Here you can buy the Maggie's Dozen Hen House with long 24" legs and a long ladder.

Many chicken keepers like the idea of being able to allow the birds to shelter under the house, or to place feeders under cover. This option also helps to make cleaning the henhouse much less of a 'bending-down' job .

Currently approx 2 - 3 week delivery. This house is normally delivered ready assembled wrapped and strapped on a pallet, via Palletline carrier. If it is more convenient for you flatpacked just let us know when ordering. Separate confirmation email will detail delivery date.

If you already have a Long-Legged Maggie's Dozen Henhouse then you can purchase the run separately here. This will measure 6ft from the front of the house and include extra panels to enclose the underneath of the house i.e. giving a run space of approx 10ft x 4ft.

When purchased separately this run will be delivered by courier, in panels for simple self assembly, and the carriage charge will be £15.96 (mainland England). Other details as for Henhouse and Run below.

Now we have added a longer leg option to our Maggie's Dozen Henhouse as well, to give almost 2ft of height under the house, then added a matching run to extend 9ft from the front of the house, so total run length is just over 12ft. Cleaning out is even easier that before and with shelter under the house this is a very complete unit.

All features as for the Maggie's Dozen Henhouse. There is an access door under the back of the house to place feed in the sheltered part of the run and there is also a large door at the end of the run. To close the pop-hole there is yet another door next to the house front. Total run size is approx 12ft x 4ft.

For all of you who love to see the heart window on your henhouse and run ...

It is a little difficult to still see the heart on the hen house when the run is in place (because of the mesh and braces) so - due to customer demand - we are offering this option of a timber panel with a heart window to decorate the end of the run. Just add this option to your shopping basket when ordering the run.

To create a permanent site for your chickens - and to save you having to move the Run every few weeks - why not consider this package to make a secure (fox-proof), level surface for your House and Run by raising it on a timber plinth and filling the inside surface with woodchip.

The hardwood woodchip is an excellent, hygienic, surface for the birds - almost self-cleaning. Just wash through with a garden hose if we haven't had any rain, refresh perhaps twice a year, and you can just scatter some powder disinfectant over it once a month to keep it fresh. Much more healthy than bare soil for the birds, and much less smelly too.

The packs contain a set of pressure treated timbers, 10in x 5in, to create a raised plinth for your Long Legged Maggie's Henhouse & Run and the right number of bags of hardwood woodchip to create a clean, perfect surface for the hens. The sleepers (as shown, softwood tanalised - not oak) will be cut to the lengths required and will come with an instruction sheet to aid placement (its just like putting lego together really!).
