Making a Purchase:
Making a purchase is easy through our website. Just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy to the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept payment by credit or debit card and Paypal, or by telephone 01300 345229 (Paypal payments are not accepted by phone).
BY CREDIT/DEBIT CARD: Select pay by Credit Card and you will be taken to our secure payment server, SagePay, where you can enter your payment details using secure 128-bit encryption. Email confirmations will follow immediately upon completion.
BY PAYPAL EXPRESS: Select Paypal Express and you will be taken to Paypal login page where you can log in to your account. Paypal with then return you to our site with your address details completed. PLEASE check these are correct (otherwise you may be asking us to send to an old address). Click the T&C's box to accept, and then the confirm button. This will have completed your order.
If you experience problems making a payment through the website please check you have entered your email address correctly (e.g. no spaces, most payment errors are due to this problem), your name, address and particularly postcode, are correct. If this still does not resolve the problem please call 01300 345229.
Please note: Prices are displayed inc. vat where applicable on the product page, and are shown excl. vat in the Shopping Basket with the vat amount shown separately. The delivery charge shown in the shopping basket is also displayed excl vat.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order when full payment has cleared, and hence a contract between us. Your invoice will be included with the goods. We have included this term to protect us in the case a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. We store the contract's content and will send you the details of your order, as well as general terms, via email. You can find the Terms and Conditions on this website at all times. The details about your recent orders can be found in your customer login if you have registered for an account.
Carriage charges for all goods are worked out by weight and are quoted ex. vat in the shopping basket. To find out delivery charges just add goods to the basket and then click Checkout, select destination and the ex. vat delivery charge will be displayed.
We currently ship goods to UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Portugal and Italy. No goods will be shipped without payment in full by credit/debit card. Goods are supplied subject to conditions of sale. We do not relinquish title of these goods until payment is received in full.
Non-housing goods (e.g. Poultry Supplies, Electric Fencing) are despatched next day when in stock, via courier usually on a next working day delivery (UK only). If your order is urgent please let us know and will do our best to get the goods to you as soon as possible. For orders outside the UK most deliveries are within 4-10 days. Please note that it is not possible to send some goods outside the UK e.g. poultry feeds and consumables like light bulbs.
Housing (and any goods ordered at the same time) are despatched to arrive on an agreed delivery date. You will receive a separate email, within 24 hours of placing the order, offering a delivery date. Please reply to this email and confirm whether the date given is convenient or not. As the house orders are bulky and delivered on a pallet (usually measuring 4ft x 5ft), it is necessary to confirm with you whether you can accept the order personally or whether it is possible to leave the pallet safely at the delivery address. Please also consider whether access to your property is possible for a 7.5 tonne lorry, and let us know if not, so we can consider other options. A signature upon delivery is always preferable in case of any damage that may have occurred during transit. Please check the delivery upon arrival and make notes of any damage on the drivers manifest. Full details and a downloadable image of the delivery by pallet can be found on our deliveries page.
We can only agree delivery dates and book them with our delivery companies. We cannot guarantee that there will not be extenuating circumstances which mean the delivery companies cannot make the delivery on that day e.g. traffic accidents, flooding, vehicle breakdown. This is very rare and 99% of our deliveries are made on time. Please do call us as soon as possible if there are any delivery company issues, we make every effort to solve problems as a matter of urgency.
By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions you agree that proof of delivery by our delivery company is sufficient evidence that the goods have been received. If you give us instructions for the goods to be left in a safe place at your property then Flyte so Fancy cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage once delivered.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. If we are unable to fulfil that backorder within 7 days, you will be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% value added tax is included where applicable. Some goods are zero rated for vat e.g. poultry feeds, books.
Credit Card Security:
When the order is placed on our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption through the Sage Pay secure payment system and Flyte so Fancy Ltd do not have access to your card details. You will also be asked to complete the Mastercard Securecard or Visa Verification option to further protect you, and us, from fraud. The order and address details are only decrypted after they reach our computer. Your payment card details are not held in clear text on any website.
We guarantee your satisfaction. Goods that are received damaged or faulty will be replaced immediately. Any faults discovered 30-days after purchase will be dealt with by the manufacturer directly. All electric fence energisers have a 2-year warranty and, if a fault occurs, should be returned to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. Please note: Water damage to Electric Fence energisers invalidates the warranty. All Egg Incubators are covered by the manufacturer's 1-year warranty and Electronic Door Openers are covered by the manufacturer's 3-year warranty.
All Flyte so Fancy Timber Poultry Housing carries a 2-year No Quibble Guarantee, so that if the quality of materials or standard of workmanship is not what you expected, we can replace the product or refund your money (This does not include natural wear and tear or mal-treatment). After this period any faults will be considered on an individual basis in order to rectify any problem as we do want you to be completely happy with your purchase and our service.

If you have an item that needs returning please email firstname.lastname@example.org to say you wish to return the item. You should complete our Returns Form to ensure your return rights are not infringed. You can complete this Returns Form online, click submit form, and it is automatically emailed to us, or, print and send a copy to us as an attachment by email to email@example.com, fax to 01300 345858, or by post to the address above.
If you decide you no longer require the goods within 14 days of the day of receipt of the goods ('cooling off period'), we offer a full refund of original invoice including original carriage charges (excluding supplements) in accordance with EU Directive on Consumer Rights (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) i.e. return carriage costs are not refunded. Perishable goods e.g. poultry feeds and infra red bulbs cannot be returned for refund. We also exclude refund of carriage costs of pallet deliveries due to costs once the pallet has been despatched but all cases will be considered on an individual basis.
Please return the goods unused in the original packing with a completed Returns Form and we will refund your payment card. You must return the goods to us within 14 days of informing us of your cancellation. Your refund will be paid within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods. For returned goods over the 14 day 'cooling off' period we reserve the right to charge a re-stocking charge of £5. Goods that have been used will not warrant a full refund but this will be considered on an individual basis.
You may call us to tell us about your wish to cancel your contract and we will advise on the best return method but your right to cancel must be exercised in writing as well e.g. by email, or mail.
Return of the unwanted goods can be either by courier or by post in which case we may arrange a collection or send a returns label if you wish. The cost of courier collection or post will be deducted from your refund. Postal costs will be in accordance with post office charges and courier collection will be a minimum of £6 to a maximum of £15, this will be according to weight of the goods and therefore courier costs. You will be informed of these costs before your return.
If you are returning goods at your own costs then please just let us know when they have been despatched.
Please include your order number, name and address details on the Returns Form and a copy should be included in your package. If returning for exchange please make sure the goods are returned in new condition and in the original packaging. Thank you.
For faulty or damaged goods: Please notify us immediately by phone or email if you find the goods damaged or faulty upon receipt and we will replace immediately. You may call us about a damaged or faulty item but you should also email us to comply with our returns policy. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not comply with our returns policy. Consumable items are not covered by our returns policy e.g. poultry feed, light bulbs.
Flyte so Fancy Ltd offer advice by telephone and in detail on the website and we ask that you consider this when making any purchase. If you purchase goods against that advice Flyte so Fancy Ltd cannot be held liable if they are then found not to be suitable for your purposes e.g. Lengths, heights, weights etc are given for every product where necessary.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Directive on Consumer Rights (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/consumer-contracts-information
