Tall Turbo Horse Electric Fence Kit - Dual Power

A tall horse fence with Turbo power!

Our turbo horse fence kit includes 1.6m high tread-in plastic posts with unbreakable treads from Horizont, and 200m of 20mm Turbo Tape for a 100m two-line Fence (or a 200m one line fence). Turbo electro-tape has much better conductivity than normal poly-tape and gives up to 25% better available power.

The fence is powered with the Hotline Gemini 80 Dual Power Energiser which has 0.8 joules output so this kit is powerful enough and tall enough for even the most stubborn or determined horse.

The Gemini energiser can power up to 8km of fence line. Being dual power you can use this energiser either from the mains (lead-out cable and clips included), or from a 12v leisure-type battery (not included) making it very versatile and saves having to make the choice between an energiser that only works from the mains or only works from a battery - here you can have both!

Also included in this horse kit is a small reel to wind the tape onto, to make moving the fence easier, plus two gate handles and anchors.

More Tall Fence Posts and 20mm Turbo Tape can be easily added to the kit without any other adjustments. If you need extra lead-out cable to go under your gateways this can be purchased separately in 10m, 25m, 50m or 100m rolls.

This 85 amp/hr, re-chargeable 12v Leisure Battery comes with a built-in charge level indicator and carry handle. It also has double terminals so it can take a trickle charge whilst being used. Heavt Duty battery for leisure and marine use.

For use with any 12v Electric Fence Battery Energiser e.g. Hotline Hobby Energiser, Hotline Gemini, Gallagher BatteryMaster, Wolseley Midge etc.

We always recommend the use of leisure-type batteries with electric fencing. They are designed to be discharged and then re-charged whereas car batteries are not. This battery should have a life of 200 cycles so will last quite a number of years.

Although a charge will last approx 6 weeks we do recommend that they are recharged every 2 weeks or so to keep the battery in best condition. This battery has a depth of discharge of 70% and we have found that if allowed to discharge fully it could damage the plates and it will be very hard to get it to take a full charge properly again. Also, we do recommend with this battery that at least a 7 amp battery charger be used if possible.
