Mixed Poultry Grit

A 5kg sealed tub of 'all-in-one' grit and shell for poultry. Poultry should always have access to grit and shell especially if they are confined in a run or indoors.

Grit aids their digestion because it acts as the hens 'teeth' in the crop to grind up the food. Oyster Shell will help the hens to form good shells on their eggs and supplies them with a source of calcium.

If adding feed/grit to a henhouse order we will refund any additional delivery charges that the website would make due to the weight.

Note: If you want to order several assorted bags of feed, grit and other items but find the delivery charge applied by the website is too much, we can arrange for delivery by pallet for a single delivery charge of £38 (for England). You can either order through the site in the normal way, ask for pallet delivery in the instructions box and we will refund any charge back to £38, or just give Anne a call on 01300 345229
