Galvanised Treadle Poultry Feeders

British made Galvanised Poultry Feeder, capacity 10kg pelleted feed. Suitable for Chickens, Ducks, Turkeys and Geese. A simple idea, the chickens stand on the mesh grid and the flap opens to reveal the food. Big savings can be made on wasted or stolen food.

It is an all-weather galvanised feeder that cannot be operated by vermin (they don't weigh enough to open the flap covering the feed), and it also cannot be operated by smaller wild birds.

You may have to show the birds how to use the treadle at first, but we suggest putting a stone on the treadle for a couple of days so that the feed flap is open and they can see where the feed is. Then take the stone away and when they come and stand on the treadle they will see the flap open and very soon get the hang of it.

Measures: 35cm wide x 50 cm deep (incl treadle) x 56 cm high. Hopper (excl treadle) is 23 cm deep.
