Large Emperor Poultry Feeder (50kg)

Large 70 litre (approx 50kg) Outdoor Feeder for poultry and game birds. Unique design, made in the UK using recycled material. This feeder can also supply your birds with water. By capturing rainwater around the central rim channel and draining it through a hose (supplied), it can feed any water container placed near to the unit.

This feeder is used on the grouse moors of Scotland and by many gamekeepers when rearing pheasants. Feed pan dispenser tray fixed under the container fills with feed. Push fit lid . Very stable with three timber legs.

The Feeder normally comes with a feed pan 150mm in diameter x 105mm high with a pan lip of 25mm which is suitable for most poultry or game birds. If you have 'messy eaters' then upgrading to a larger pan may be an idea. See below to add this to your order and we will replace the smaller pan with a large one. Or - we can suggest the pecking spring (below) instead, which has been tried and tested for messy eaters, and works very well with the Emperor Feeder.

Some simple self assembly required. Legs 60cm, whole unit 90cm high. Feeder pan is 22.5 from the ground when using legs supplied. Please note: as with all gravity type feeders, this is not suitable for Layers Mash.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE ACTUAL SIZE OF THIS FEEDER BEFORE PURCHASING - IT IS A LARGE FEEDER!

A large feed pan option to add to the Emperor Feeder (this can only be added to an order which includes the Emperor Feeder). This extended pan is 275mm diameter with a pan lip of 40mm and a total height of 125mm.

Some birds do tend to scatter their food more than others, or if you have a large number of birds, then this may be an option for you.

A simple plated steel feeding spring to convert any feed drum or container into a poultry feeder. It will help to reduce feed waste as feed is only released when the birds peck the spring.

Simply make a hole in the base of the container, attach the spring with three screws (not included) and the feed will be contained within the spring until the birds peck at it.
