Delivery and Payments

We would like to stress the importance of checking that you have entered the correct e-mail address, this is shared with no third parties whatsoever, but we do need it to confirm your order and give delivery dates. If you have not received an order confirmation email within a few hours please check your 'spam' folder. Please note: supanet.com and plus.com email addresses always reject our emails. Thank you.
Delivery is available to UK, Ireland, France, Belgium, Netherlands & Germany addresses only and carriage charges will be made according to weight. This is done automatically through the checkout(items weighing over 30kg are only delivered within the UK & Eire). Carriage is in line with Royal Mail charges up to 1kg, thereafter we use a courier 24 to 48-hour delivery to keep charges as low as possible. e.g. 1 - 2kg is £5.86 to addresses in England/Wales. Housing deliveries are worked out in the same way but delivered on a pallet via Palletline or Palletforce and details of whether housing items are currently in stock will be on the page relevant to the item.
All non-housing items and electric fencing items are usually despatched for next working day delivery within UK (although at busy times it may take an extra day) unless we are, unusually, out of stock in which case we will give an estimated delivery date. If you place a small order before midday we can usually despatch the same day (excl. weekends). If you require your order urgently please mention this during ordering. Pre-noon delivery is available at a surcharge of £14.90 and for Saturday deliveries add £25.00 to normal delivery charge (for these options please phone).
All deliveries will normally require a signature but if you are not going to be available to receive the delivery, please could you state during the checkout process where the driver can leave the parcel/pallet safely. Alternatively just email us info@flytesofancy.co.uk with any necessary details.
Larger items, such as our Poultry Houses, will usually be despatched within a few days (when in stock) via Pallet company for weekday delivery, and again will normally require a signature. Saturday deliveries by pallet are available at a surcharge of £35. For example, Sat pre-noon pallet delivery to Home Counties is the normal £39 + £35, so £73 in total (please phone us). Estimated delivery times are given on the information page of each chicken house or unit. To find out delivery charges, add goods required to the shopping basket, click Checkout, select destination and it will give delivery charge (ex.vat). e.g. delivery of henhouses via Pallet company start at £39 for mainland England and £67 for mainland Scotland.
If the shopping basket shows a particularly high carriage charge due to weight of goods don't worry, we will reduce it by refund back to £39 (for England) which is the delivery cost for one pallet delivery. We can pack quite a number of things on one pallet so ordering everything (especially heavy goods) at the same time is often a good idea. This does not always apply where more than one henhouse has been ordered at the same time.
Henhouse delivery PLEASE NOTE: The delivery pallet size for most housing is 1.2m x 1.5m (4ft x 5ft) x up to 2.2m high (depending on which house) and the goods are wrapped and strapped on the pallet for you to unpack, the Pallet lorry driver will not unpack the pallet for you but will put it, using his pallet handler, in as convenient a place for you as possible (steps, grass or gravel are not possible for this machine). The lorry is usually a large curtain-sided lorry although we can ask for a small lorry if necessary. If you think delivery this way may be a problem this way please contact us and we will consider other options.

Payments Making a payment through this website:
Please note: Prices are displayed inc. vat where applicable on the product page, and are shown excl. vat in the Shopping Basket with the vat amount shown separately. The delivery charge shown in the shopping basket is also displayed excl vat.
You can make a payment through the website either by credit/debit card or by cheque. If selecting to pay by cheque, just complete your order in the normal way, select pay by cheque from the drop down box and your order will be forwarded to us. Then send your cheque and a print of the order to us at the address shown on the confirmation. OR, you can print an order form from the 'information to download' page, complete all the details and send by fax or post.
The Flyte so Fancy website uses a secure payment server company called Sage Pay (formerly Protx) to manage it's credit/debit card payments, you may find them on many on-line shopping websites, and this ensures both your security and ours. As you go through the checkout process, and choose to confirm your order, you will be taken to the secure 'Sage Pay' payment page and will notice the padlock symbol in the address bar. Here you can complete you card details in complete security, your address and other details already entered, will be filled in for you.
When the order is placed at our website through SagePay, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on any website and we do not hold your credit card details on any computer. You will be asked to confirm the payment and the order completion notification is sent to us. You will then receive an email from Sage Pay saying the payment has been made, and an email from us saying we have received your order. Please check all details are correct. If you do not receive a confirmation email please check your spam folder or call us to make sure the order completed.
Depending on which card you are using to make you payment, you may be asked to complete the 3D secure process (Mastercard Securecard or Verified by Visa). This is simply another layer of security that is now being adopted for many on-line payment systems and is like using a PIN in a shop. If not already registered to use the Securecard, you will be asked to create a password which you can use every time you use any website with Securecard. This password is then used to authenticate the payment directly with your bank - security for you, security for us. We do not have access to any of these details.
If you are experiencing problems making a payment please check you have entered your email address correctly (with no spaces and the ISP spelled correctly, most payment errors are due to this problem), and that your name, address and particularly postcode are correct. If this still does not resolve the problem please call Anne on 01300 345229 (before you get too frustrated) - or even if you don't feel safe ordering on-line just call. |
