Clearsealer for Henhouses

Stop those annoying water drips with Hydrosol Crackseal, the seal with capilliary action. Developed for use in the marine world, this sealer really is made for the toughest of jobs.

Seals cracks and gaps in wood and plastic. Ideal for leaks in aged henhouse roofs and splitting timbers or just the fine hairline cracks you can get in all timbers. Timber often has a will of its own and even if you are diligent in your choice it may still decide to split due to sharp changes in temperature and movement through the seasons.

Crackseal is unaffected by damp or dust simply allow to flow into the crack. If used in conjunction with Burgess Woodsealer (below) always treat cracks with woodsealer first, then apply cracksealer.

We include Burgess Marine Hydrosol Clearsealer among our products for use on the timber roofs of our henhouses. This is a very high quality sealer which is ideal for use on pressure treated timber and is used throughout the marine industry. It dries clear and a little goes a long way. Clearsealer gives a tough micro-porous surface that will not break down and bleach out.

It will protect the timber throughout the natural movements that occur with wood, and help to maintain the waterproof qualities of the roof of your henhouse over the years.

We recommend the application of Clearsealer to your henhouse before the winter season. Burgess Marine Hydrosol Clearsealer, although marked as an internal treatment is the correct product to use externally on your henhouse as it contains no pigment but will give full weather protection.

1 litre. Clearsealer is non-toxic, non-flammable and non-volatile. Unlikely to irritate skin, just wash well with soap and water.
