Brinsea EcoGlow Contact Brooders

This excellent value Brinsea Contact brooder is designed so that the chicks can be reared in a safe environment.

The EcoGlow Chick Brooder is ideal for rearing up to 20 chicks, ducklings or most other species of fowl or game. The low voltage heater panel warms chicks directly by contact and is more economical and safer than infra-red lamps. The EcoGlow has three height settings for different sized chicks and its tough plastic construction makes it durable and easy to clean.

The EcoGlow uses a tenth of the electricity of typical suspended infra-red lamps because the chicks are in contact with its warm underneath surface. The brooder runs at 12v for safety, from a mains transformer (supplied) and with the convenience of a 3m power cable.
