FSF Boredom Busters® for Chickens

This Boredom Buster® is a completely natural, solid 600g block of tasty nibbles of wheat, seeds, fruit and molasses (hence you will find it is sticky to touch). Molasses were used, according to my old poultry keeping book, in poultry feed in days gone by, and is said to help the hens digestion.

We have tested it with our own birds for several weeks, still good even in the rain (albeit sticky!), and they really do seem to love it, but most of all it lasts such a long time. Feedback from our customers prompts the note below - the vast majority of customers find their birds love it but the stickiness can be a problem for some fluffy-feathered breeds.

FSF Note: Take care in the hottest months of the year with this product, the direct sunlight can make it soft and the molasses can attract wasps and ants. In Summer time you could try the Chicken Lickin' Nutri-block which has no molasses. Winter months are a great time to give the birds this treat though when there is little else around for them to peck at and the molasses will give them an energy boost.
