4-strand Green Polywire Electric Fences

A kit to protect your pond from the Heron, and garden flowerbeds from four legged intruders using a green 'trip-wire' system which makes the fence fairly unobtrusive.

This kit is not intended to contain or prevent larger dog breeds as the posts are quite small (73cm high) , for this we would suggest our Multi-Purpose Kit which has choice of tape colour and fence post height.

If using against Heron please consider the fact that the posts have to be pushed into the earth so this may not be suitable if you have a plastic lined pond, or have stone edging/decking with no free earth, as the fence needs to be placed close to the waters edge. This Electric Fence kit uses green polywire. It includes 10 posts for a 50m 4-strand fence but more plastic posts and polywire can be added. Also included are 4 green screw-in insulators for securing the beginning and end of the fence to a solid wooden post, and 5 polywire connectors for securing the ends or joins of wire.

Operates from a 3v Shrike energiser which uses 2 DCell batteries and these should last up to 8 weeks (24hrs a day). It is a very compact unit which will hang on top of the earth stake when in use.
