15m Electric Poultry Netting Kits

So many customers have said to us over the past year that they’d love to provide a predator-proof play area for their girls in the garden, but all the electric Poultry Netting and Kits on the market are either too long, too expensive, or both.

We talked through all these problems with our friends at Hotline®, and we are now delighted to announce that they have developed a new, exclusive, low-cost, garden-friendly Netting just for us!

At 15 metres long the Netting is the perfect size for the garden, forming an easily-movable Pen of 12 feet by 12 feet (covers 14 sq metres), or in one line nearly 50 feet of protected flowerbed. The Netting comes with five extra-height posts, which being double-pronged are easy as pie to just tread into the ground.

This kit uses a small 3v energiser which is a low voltage energiser and perfect to give the flexibility to move, or to simply use when needed. Because it is low voltage it will also not be too great a shock when touched and therefore perfect for a home with dogs or small children. The Kit is a basic kit containing the energiser, batteries, the netting and an earth stake. You can add more posts or a fence tester if necessary.

Please note: this is flexible netting and as such is not meant to stand rigidly upright otherwise the fox would be able to climb it - remember, once his feet are off the ground he will not get a shock from the electric fence.

This 15m netting kit uses a 6v battery energiser and includes the 6v lantern battery, although the energiser can be powered by 4 D Cell batteries as well. With the output of this energsier it will give a good shock to any potential predator that touches the fence.

Extra posts are sometimes needed for poultry netting especially if you have an awkwardly shaped poultry pen, restricted access round the pen or, sloping and uneven ground. Every netting installation is different and the posts included should be sufficient for most cases, however we recommend you consider adding these posts to a net or kit order, especially with a 25m net (which only has 7 posts), and as the posts are never in the right place for every situation. Sagging can be often remedied by adding extra posts where netting changes direction and combined with guy ropes the net should be quite taut.
